Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Data Collection & Purpose
We collect your email for account security and your physical address to generate localized municipal and school feeds. We also collect technical metadata, including User-Agent strings and referral headers, to monitor and optimize service delivery for both human users and automated agents (such as AI crawlers).
2. Financial Data
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe is PCI-compliant and handles all payment data. AutoCal only retains a record of your subscription tier and status to provide the service.
3. Data Security
All personal information is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to manage your login session and secure your checkout process. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, but we may track referral patterns from AI assistants to ensure data citation integrity.
5. Sub-processors
We utilize the following third-party services to provide AutoCal: Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and user data), Mailgun (transactional emails), Plausible and Google Analytics (analytics), Contentsquare (product-experience analytics and session insights), and Google Places API (address lookup during onboarding). Each sub-processor processes only the minimum data necessary for its function.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data (email, address) for as long as your account is active. Calendar feed data is public information and is refreshed regularly. If you cancel your subscription, your account data is retained for 90 days to allow reactivation, then permanently deleted.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
7. Canadian Privacy (PIPEDA)
AutoCal Data Inc. is incorporated in Canada and complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Canadian users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal information. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@autocaldata.com.
